Through Katz Amsterdam’s and Vail Resorts, the Clubs had the opportunity for 40 middle school aged teens (14 and under) to participate in a ski and snowboard partnership at Afton Alps. Through this experience the youth have been able to learn how to ski or snowboard. Each participant was provided with all the necessary tools, including a new coat, snowpants, mittens, and goggles. The goal of this program is to give youth the opportunity to participate in winter sports, keep active and spend safe time outdoors during the cold weather, and learn something new!
