Wishing our BGCTC scholarship recipients all the best as they take their next steps in their education and career journeys! At this year’s BGCTC scholarship celebration, we welcomed 21 new deserving recipients to our Alumni Scholarship Program.
The 2025-26 academic year will see 84 scholars receive a total of over $315,000 to support their education and career goals. The event featured an inspiring panel of alumni, all former scholarship recipients, who shared their journeys beyond high school and offered valuable advice.
Several current scholars shared their future plans for the scholarship funds, including Matthew (East Side), pursuing Civil Engineering at the University of Minnesota–Duluth; Moses (Al Lenzmeier West Side), entering the trades in Carpentry; Will (Al Lenzmeier West Side), attending barber school; and Abdullah (East Side), studying International Business and Finance at Howard University.
