At BGCTC’s Jerry Gamble Club, the Lady Gambles Basketball Team is proving that hard work, dedication, and confidence lead to success—both on and off the court. This year has been nothing short of phenomenal for the squad, as they’ve not only grown as athletes, but also strengthened their bond as teammates and friends. We’re excited to share two standout moments from their season!
The first was attending the Jr. WNBA Event alongside the Minnesota Lynx, where the team had the chance to run drills and spend time learning from professional players and team staff.
The second highlight is that the team is now featured in the “Girlhood (It’s Complicated)” exhibit at the Minnesota History Museum that explores the ever-evolving concept of girlhood in the United States including education, work, health, fashion, and sports
Lady Gambles player Sierra* shared her excitement saying, “I hope when others see us, they feel inspired that they can do what we’re doing and be in a museum too.”
