At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities, we’re building a future where every young mind can explore and experiment. Through hands-on STEAM activities, Club youth are learning to code, make slime (a real crowd favorite), and solve real-world problems, all skills that power their success in school and in life.
From 3D printing to exploring the environment, STEAM at BGCTC is the foundation for Success Ahead. Our year-round STEAM programming gives youth access to:
- 100+ hands-on curriculum activities
- Math enrichment aligned with MN standards
- E-sports, coding, game design, & immersive tech
- Environmental education
- Career exploration with mentors
- Cutting-edge STEAM lab spaces
With guidance from Education Specialists and community volunteers, Club members are discovering their passions and preparing for bright futures in STEAM fields.
Thanks to the Donaldson Foundation, youth will have additional opportunities for immersive STEAM projects as part of our first annual STEM JAM fair.
