Incoming 6th grader Ra’miyah has been coming to the Club for the past five years. In that time, she has worked hard to improve her reading skills, with help and encouragement from Club staff. One of her favorite things now is diving into Manga chapter books – stories that match her passions and spark her imagination.
Ra’miyah also loves K-Pop, drawing, watching anime, and singing. Staff have watched her blossom from quiet and introverted to someone who is the first to help others and encourage them to join in Club programs, like literacy.
Ra’miyah’s growth shows what’s possible when kids have the right support to succeed in school and in life.
