We are thankful for a partnership with 612-Jungle yoga studio and our Southside Village Club. An instructor came in to talk to the kids about the practice and held a 30 minute Yin Yoga session. The members also participated in a collaborative exercise where they each wrote an intention or tip on a post it and added it to a group board. There were boards for gratitude, setting intentions, affirmations, and self-care tips. *River’s affirmation for the day was “I’m great. I’m strong. I’m good at soccer. This is just one example of how the Clubs integrate physical health into programming in unique ways.
