Caden is a fourth grader who has been attending the Club since Kindergarten, but hadn’t shown much interest in sports right up until the start of baseball season this past Summer. At first, Caden spent time with the other youth who had never played baseball before, learning the basics of the game. As the season progressed, he really started falling in love with the sport, always asking Club staff when the next practice was and what team they were playing next. By the end of the season, he was consistently getting hits and was a big part of the reason the team won their final game of the season in the year end tournament! This Fall, Caden is always out in the park practicing his swing and the first question he always asks staff is when the next baseball season is starting. His confidence among his peers has increased as well as his willingness to try new things. Without the Club and its many opportunities, he might not have been comfortable enough to try out for a baseball team and flourish like he has. Caden and his Club coach are both not so patiently waiting for the next baseball season to begin!
