Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities (BGCTC) is celebrating our 100th anniversary – a century of youth who’ve walked through our doors, mentors and communities who’ve lifted them, and incredible growth we’ve shared together.
That growth continues as we strengthen academic success across all Clubs. This year, BGCTC introduced Lexia Learning’s adaptive, research-based reading programs for K–8 students and invested in graduate school–level teacher certificate training, grounded in the Science of Reading. Twenty staff members earned this certification, ensuring that every child receives the personalized support they need to become a confident, lifelong reader.
Launching in 2026, we are excited to introduce Club University, the next chapter in our commitment to preparing youth for the future. This innovative workforce-readiness program connects teens with community-based industry partners to build real-world experience, confidence, and career skills. Participants develop concrete, soft, and technical skills, culminating capstone projects that demonstrate performance mastery, including certifications and credentialing.
Amid all this progress, one thing remains constant: none of it happens without our supporters. Make your year-end gift today and help us enter our centennial year strong and ensure the next 100 years are just as impactful. Together, we can keep transforming opportunity into achievement for the young people we serve.
Your year-end gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar by longtime champions Al and Kathy Lenzmeier, up to $50,000, doubling your impact and helping us prepare the next generation of leaders to thrive.
Here’s another great reason to give – thanks to the generosity of Tom and Jeanne Schnack, all recurring monthly gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar through 2026, up to $250,000. That means your ongoing support will have double the impact helping us build a stronger foundation for the next century of youth success.
