Premier Annual Events

At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities, we strive to create opportunities where community members can have fun, network, connect with Club youth, and make a positive impact – all while raising funds to support the overall mission of BGCTC. Throughout the year, we host four premier events that give us the chance to come together to support BGCTC programming in the areas of Academic Success, Health & Wellness, and Life & Workforce.

Read below to learn more about our four premier annual events and reach out to BGCTC’s Special Events Coordinator, Nardous Aynalem, with any questions. We look forward to having you with us!

For the Kids!, BGCTC’s annual gala, provides an opportunity for us to come together as a community to support our BGCTC Club kids while making an investment that ensures we continue creating equitable opportunities for all young people.

Tailgate at the Taproom is a day of community celebration for our BGCTC Club “All Stars” – hosted at Fulton Brewing Taproom and followed by a Minnesota Twins game at Target Field.

BGCTC CONNECT provides opportunities for business professionals and community members to come together to learn more about Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities and collaborate with us to elevate organizational awareness, generate discussion and encourage action around issues of importance to BGCTC youth and the broader BGCTC community. If you’re interested in attending a CONNECT event, click the button below to reach out!

The Great Futures Fair seeks to connect passion with purpose. Teens and young adults from across the Twin Cities will have the opportunity to meet with local corporations, businesses, colleges, tech schools, and trade unions as they begin to plan their post-secondary paths.

For over 25 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities has collaborated with local community partners across the Twin Cities during the holiday season to collect and distribute gifts to the young people we serve during the holiday season. Kids Can Give is always an exciting time at our Clubs as youth love the experience of picking out special holiday gifts to express their gratitude for parents, caregivers, siblings or other loved ones in their lives.

Since its inception in 2003, the Morrissey Hospitality Golf Classic has raised more than $600,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. Our mission — to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens — resonated with Morrissey founder Bill Morrissey. Twenty-one years later, the next generation of Twin Cities leaders continue Buill’s support of BGCTC.
