BGCTC CONNECT provides opportunities for business professionals and community members to come together to learn more about Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities and collaborate with us to elevate organizational awareness, generate discussion, and encourage action around issues of importance to BGCTC youth and the broader BGCTC community. 

ABOUT BGCTC’S LITERACY PROGRAM

BGCTC’s Literacy Program embeds positive youth development and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) methods with Sonday System reading instruction based on the Science of Reading, an approach to teaching reading that is based on decades of research and evidence and centers on five key components of early literacy: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.
