At Voyageur Environmental Center, youth explore the outdoors through fun waterfront activities like swimming, canoeing and a real crowd pleaser – fishing!
Through the fishing program, youth learn to bait a hook, identify fish, practice water safety, and care for aquatic habitats. It’s a chance to build patience, confidence, and a love for the outdoors. It’s often their very first catch! Along the way, they learn to slow down, observe their surroundings, and appreciate the natural world around them.
