STEM Mentors

BGCTC is excited to continue the STEM mentor partnership with the Sea Research Foundation. The group mentoring program is for youth ages 6–10. STEM Mentoring brings together youth and mentors for fun, hands-on activities about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), with a particular focus on conservation. For example, mentors and mentees worked together to build boats, construct towers, and play math games!

At the Clubs, we know how important STEM education is for the youth we serve. It provides them with essential skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem solving.
