Each summer, hundreds of youth from Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities (BGCTC) step into the natural world at Voyageur Environmental Center & Club —a place where they can explore the outdoors, try something new, and make new friends.
For some, it’s their first time away from the city. Their first time around a campfire. Their first hike through the woods or paddle across open water. These experiences aren’t just memorable—they build confidence, independence, and a lifelong connection to nature.
At Voyageur, we’re committed to making outdoor learning and adventure accessible to all kids in our Twin Cities community. Our programs are designed to break down barriers and create space for growth, leadership, and discovery.
Now through June 30, you can help make the Voyageur experience possible for BGCTC youth by contributing to Spirit of Voyageur 2025. Check below to make your gift today and see how you can support the next generation of leaders, learners, and environmental stewards.

“Camp Voyageur was an incredibly important part of my development growing up! It was the only chance I had as a youth to get out of the city and get into nature to play. Camp Voyageur was where I learned to swim, canoe and hike in the wilderness. Those skills translated to me learning more about myself and what my own capabilities were!“
