Voyageur Environmental Club is located on over 100 acres of private lakeside property, tucked away just outside of the Twin Cities. Voyageur provides a true Minnesota Northwoods experience to campers and guests, blending modern comfort with scenic beauty and engaging outdoor experiences. The property is the ideal setting for school and youth groups, corporate meetings and retreats, family reunions, and weddings.
Voyageur Lodge
Newly constructed with a great hall, spacious tiled restrooms, and a fully equipped commercial kitchen, the Voyageur Lodge offers heated and air-conditioned dining and meeting space for up to 105 seated. The wrap around deck over looks the grassy meadow that leads to the lake front.
Cabins
The Voyageur property has 8 cabins, furnished with bunk beds that sleep up to 14 people each. Every cabin includes restroom/shower facilities, electricity, heating and air conditioning. The cabins are nestled in the woods and just a short walk from the main lodge.
Meeting Rooms
Voyageur has a variety of meeting rooms to meet your needs. The areas are spacious and comfortable with a lot of natural lighting. Groups have used these spaces for environmental education classes, meetings, breakouts, and bride/groom suites.
Event Programming
Camp staff is equipped to lead a wide range of programming to fit your group’s needs and goals. Options include archery, canoeing, low-ropes course, paddleboard, swimming, hikes with naturalist, field games, volleyball, and much more.
Food Service and Dining
Groups have the option of ordering food through Voyageur or bringing in their own meals. If ordering through us, the experienced team will work with you on a carefully planned, well-balanced menu, including snacks. Meals are served family-style and special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice. The property has a fully equipped commercial kitchen that can be rented by the group for food prep.
