Club alumni are the leaders, innovators, and change-makers who grew up in the Club, sharing a passion for supporting the next generation of Club kids. Through intentional, continuous, and open engagement, we connect alumni and youth to their peers, resources, and opportunities that will prepare them for a meaningful life and help them become more productive and responsible citizens. Heaven, a Club Alumni and Lenzmeier Scholarship recipient shares how BGCTC supported the success of her academic career.
“Hi! My name is Heaven Cunningham, and I am a first-year graduate student at Loyola Chicago, and I am working to obtain my Master’s degree. The Club had such a large impact on my post-secondary education journey. Not only has the Club supported my college dreams financially, but mentors and peers at the Club helped connect me to the necessary resources to prepare for all that college brings, including success! I am forever grateful for the opportunities and connections that the Boys & Girls Clubs have fostered!”
