Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities is excited to announce Chad Jackson as our new board chair! As we push forward on a strong growth trajectory, grounded by a North Star goal of “all members on track for a successful future beyond high school graduation”, the Board of Directors, under Jackson’s leadership, will play a critical role in BGCTC’s efforts to remain a catalyst for the elimination of racial inequities and the realization of improved outcomes for the BIPOC youth and communities we serve.
Chad Jackson is the Director of Brand Partnership Development with the Minnesota Twins and has been with the organization in various corporate and brand partnership roles for over 20 years. Jackson is known by his partners, community members, and industry peers as an authentic and purpose-driven leader, always seeking to understand how he can drive brand value for his partners while also driving impact back to the community. Jackson attended a Boys & Girls Club in his youth and is passionate about youth development and belonging, encouraging youth to chase their dreams and “put in the work.” In his remarks at the recent BGCTC 2024 Annual Meeting, Jackson stated “This is a tremendous honor and privilege. I’m overwhelmed.” He also shared that “Born in Tampa, Florida one of the very first places I can remember going was the Boys & Girls Club. I received such great support, guidance, leadership, mentorship, tutoring, hot meals, and even learned how to swim and play baseball and football. The Clubs, for the better part of my childhood, really shaped and formed me.”
Terryl Brumm, BGCTC President & CEO, celebrates the announcement: “I am beyond thrilled to welcome Chad as our new Board Chair and honored to walk this journey with him. He has been a friend and champion of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities for many years in both his personal life and in his professional role with the Minnesota Twins. He is deeply committed to fostering a sense of community and belonging throughout all levels of the organization. Chad prioritizes our young people while uplifting and supporting the incredible staff driving positive change in our community.”
