Kelly is a fourth grade student at Centennial who is grateful for our literacy program! Kelly’s mom told Club staff that her daughter’s conferences are getting harder every time. Each year, her daughter continues to fall further behind in reading. Her teachers are doing everything they can to support her during the day and her mom reads with her every night but she is still struggling. Since coming to the Club, Kelly is feeling more confident in her reading skills and looks forward to spending time behind a book whenever she can. Kelly’s mom was looking for more help and is so happy that BGCTC offers small group instruction to struggling readers like her daughter.
