Our Strategy
Good Character & Leadership Programs
Each month, one youth ages 8 to 13 is chosen based on outstanding Club participation, positive behavior and good sportsmanship. At year’s end they get special incentives like attending sports events, meet-and-greets and special field trips.
Keystone Club is one of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities most dynamic teen programs. It affords teens an opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience.
Torch Clubs are small-group leadership and service groups for boys and girls ages 11-13. A Torch Club is a powerful vehicle through which Club staff can help meet the special character development needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their development.
Since 1947, Youth of the Year has been a premier recognition program, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Club members. Each year, one exceptional young person from a Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities rises to the role of the Youth of the Year. Youth have a chance to compete first at a Club level, then the State, regional, and National Youth of the Year competitions.
