Spring Thaw

Spring Thaw is a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities hosted by our Associate Board. The Associate Board is a group of young professionals dedicated to helping the Boys & Girls Clubs expand our supporter base through volunteerism, networking and fundraising. Spring Thaw has been around for 5 years and grown exponentially from 200 guests to 600+ in 2016, we are excited to see where the momentum will take us!

Kids in the City

Kids in the was designed to recognize outstanding Boys & Girls Club members who have been identified as “FOX Sports North All Stars.” The All-Stars are identified based on participation and success in one or more of the three priority outcome areas—Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. The event consists of a Tailgate Party at Fulton with all you can eat food, followed by a Minnesota Twins game at Target Field!

Knicker Open

The Knicker Open was founded by the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club and benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. Part ‘scramble’ golf event and part ‘fashion show’, the Knicker Open attracts a wide array of individuals, corporate sponsors, and foursomes from across the Twin Cities who gather for a unique event and fun afternoon, while also supporting a great cause.

Grand Slam Dinner

The Grand Slam Dinner is hosted by Brian and Renee Dozier and The Capital Grille, and features members of the Minnesota Twins family, past and present, as servers in benefit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. This fun event begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a sit-down dinner that is served by current and former Minnesota Twins.  There is a short program and exciting live auction during the dinner.

For the Kids!

For the Kids! is our largest annual fundraiser, raising over half a million dollars in 2016 and attracting 500+ guests to the event! For the Kids! is an opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness of our youth and display the faith we have in their potential.  The evening consists of a cocktail reception with a silent auction and youth led games with a sit down dinner to follow including youth performances, keynote speaker, live auction and donation appeal.
